About the Course

We will learn all about cyanotype, a type of sun-printing, and the British botanist, "Anna Atkins (1799-1871), photographer, and artist who made significant contributions to the field of photography, particularly with the cyanotype process. She is considered the first person to use photography to illustrate a book, and her work showcases the intersection of art and science”. We will make our own cyanotype prints using foliage from our own backyards!

All ages welcome!

A lesson summary, as well as lesson extensions will be provided to homeschool families and the end of the class for portfolios.
